Western Oregon’s softball player Sara Tucholsky hit her first career home run, only to collapse from a torn knee ligament while rounding the bases. Being an active runner, her team couldn’t help her without causing an out. The team‘s only choice seemed to be a substitution, resulting in the loss of the run with the replacement taking her place at first base.
